The owner of Driven Enterprises, the parent company of  Green Envy was born and raised just outside of Arcanum, Ohio.  Arcanum is a small farming community where he worked from the age of 13 until 18 as a farm hand, baling hay and caring for a variety of farm animals daily. 

He took a bit of knowledge from each farmer he worked for, and learned that a true business person will break their back before they break their word, AND a handshake truly is your bond.  This set of values gained as a young man are still very present in everything we do, in each of our businesses, and explains our 97% customer retention rates which is seriously unheard of in the green industry.

Richard and Ashlee Davidson live in Brookville, Ohio which is about 30 miles West of Dayton, Ohio.  

Richard has 30+ years in lawn care and well over a decade of experience as a professional and has also earned certification by Ohio State University and 

 The Ohio Department of Agriculture.

Richard has and will continue to be enrolled in a variety 

of lawn care programs including Ohio State University

Turf Educational Programs.  

A self-proclaimed "Grass Nerd" Richard has always been fascinated by the significant differences that can be made in turf care programs by simple and inexpensive changes.  He can often be seen on customer's lawns pulling up a few pieces of grass and studying the root systems and will gladly educate and lecture anyone willing to listen to him on the science of lawn care.
